Theme: Prayer

An empty mind can feel unsettling… especially when you have things to do and creativity or intelligible thoughts are needed.

Do you give in to the discomfort?

Personally, an “empty mind”—aka silence—is very loud to me.

When my mind feels empty, I thank God in advance for already knowing:

  • what I need

  • what my family may need

  • what my commitments require

  • and how I may support others

I thank Him in advance for:

  • Positive Outcomes

  • Guidance

  • Peace

  • Wisdom

  • Motivation

  • and Confirmations

Why?

Because that advanced “Thank You” shifts me from:

"empty mind"

to:

active listening.

Listening for:

  • guidance

  • Ah-Ha Moments

  • motivation

  • clarity

  • peace

  • and action

Awareness that the mind feels “empty” can also become an opportunity to pause and refocus on:

  • what you are currently doing

  • your To-Do list

  • areas of procrastination

  • needed rest

  • or what truly deserves your attention

You can remain in discomfort…or embrace peace of mind while continuing forward on your life’s journey.

When the mind feels “empty”…

Prayer Works!! 🙌🏾💞

From my heart to yours,

Dianne Lawson 💞
