Theme: Empty
Does the awareness of an empty mind cause you concern?
How is it possible for peace to speak when your mind is empty?
An empty mind has room to learn new things.
An empty mind has space to be filled or refilled.
An empty mind may choose to focus on positive or negative perspectives and expectations.
An empty mind may be open or closed.
An empty mind does not always mean something is wrong. Sometimes it is a moment of rest. Sometimes it follows overwhelming circumstances. Sometimes it is making room for new understanding, renewed purpose, or quiet peace.
When you become aware of your mind being empty, do you ask:
Why?
What do I need to do?
What do I need to know?
What’s stopping me?
How can I move forward?
How am I feeling?
Is the emptiness related to myself, someone else, something new, something serious, internal, external, other?
Sometimes an empty mind follows a situation or circumstance that left you clearheaded with reason to pause before celebrating or assessing what’s next.
When the mind is empty, it is possible for peace to speak, especially if you are in the habit of having Confident Expectations of Good.
Sometimes the quietest moments are not empty at all. They are simply making room for peace, clarity, and what comes next.
From my heart to yours, Dianne Lawson 💞
