Theme: Grief

Loss of a loved one—or something deeply important—does not affect every heart in the same way. Sudden loss or an anticipated transition may impact you in indescribable ways…

Many believe that at the time of loss, and in the days that follow, those who are grieving need answers:

  • Reasons why

  • Words of wisdom

  • What to do

  • How to move forward

  • Understanding the unthinkable and unknown

Though some may need answers…

Sometimes people need presence more than answers.

Confirmation they are not alone.

Confirmation the HeartAche and emotions felt are valid.

Confirmation that if answers are needed, attempts will be made.

Confirmation that if silence is needed, they are not alone.

And if time alone is needed, comfort in knowing their needs are respected.

God’s Presence.

Family Presence.

Friend Presence.

Community Presence.

Knowing the type of “presence” needed is awareness.

Seeking or accepting the “presence” needed is a choice.

During seasons of grief, transition, or emotional weight, pause and ask yourself:

“Do I need answers right now… or do I need presence?”

The awareness of what your heart truly needs matters. 💞

From my heart to yours,

Dianne Lawson 💞
