Theme: Milestones
Most mothers remember first impression, first words, first steps, first days of school… Especially, first days of each school level… they are reminders of getting closer to ‘letting go’.
When my sons were in elementary school, they attended school down the street from their grandmother. One day, my oldest sat me down to convince me to transfer him and his little brother to an elementary school in Santa Monica. He pointed out that they were on football, baseball and basketball teams in Santa Monica. Yes, they had friends in Carson but they also had friends in Santa Monica. Plus, if they went to school in Santa Monica, they wouldn’t have to commute, wouldn’t have to get up so early or get home so late. There was more and he made good arguments for each point.
That proposition resulted in Lawson Responsibility and Safety Training 101, 201 and 301.

Communication… Check-ins and Status Updates
In the early years of motherhood, I thought the milestones would be age related and many firsts… But No!
There’s so much more to motherhood and milestones.
