Sometimes People Need Presence More Than Answers

Every now and then, an unexpected, unwanted, unavoidable, and unchangeable Life Happening occurs…

It hits you in your heart, your mind and your faith!

You don’t want to be alone.

You don’t want to talk about it yet...

Sometimes the heart needs quiet before it can find words.

• Maybe you prayed about it… and waiting.

  Maybe it’s because…

  • You don’t have any questions.

  • You don’t have any answers.

  • You’re in unfamiliar territory.

• Maybe you just need to be still before making any decisions.

Who would you call when all you want and need is presence?

How would you say "I don't need answers today. I just need you to stay."?

Silent presence is not an easy request…

• Most people might have the urge to ask fifty million questions

• Most people want to listen for clues to what Life Happening happened

• Most people want to give advice, opinions, suggestions

• Many will want to ‘fix it’

When my Heart-Connections need my presence without my voice or actions. I pray there will be something audible wherever we are going to be. Personally, silence is LOUD to me. Whether in comfort with music, tv, waves at the beach, or the discomfort of literal silence… Love Shows Up.

Not needing to know every detail helps when only presence is needed.

Yet, communication for clarity is recommended before acceptance.

• When?

• Where?

• How long?

• How often?

• If you don’t have questions, answers, half a clue by a certain timeframe, then what?

Requesting silent presence is not easy.

Accepting silent presence is not easy.
