Relationships change.

Sometimes by choice.

Sometimes by distance.

Sometimes by life circumstances.

Sometimes by loss.

Yet love can still exist.

Only different.

Relationships evolve throughout our lives.

Some grow closer.

Some grow apart.

Some are interrupted by distance, illness, divorce, disagreements, or loss.

Yet love can continue to exist.

Only different.

How does love continue when circumstances change?

Love adapts to:

Distance.

Loss.

Illness.

Aging.

Divorce.

Geography.

Time.

Responsibilities.

Changing roles.

The circumstances are different.

The love is not.

A parent may no longer live nearby.

A former spouse may become family in a different way.

A loved one may no longer be physically present.

Relationships may change.

Love adapts.

In the midst of life's happenings, there are so many relationships in varying stages of development, support, maintenance or dismantling in everyone's day-to-day activities. 

Relationships may change.

Love remains and adapts.

Love isn't always expressed the same way.

Relationships aren't always the same.

Life isn't always the same.

Yet love still exists…

Only different.
