Many years ago, my prayer was “Lord, My Brother is important to me. It’s just the two of us and I need him in my life for more years to come. Please restore his health and the man I Love and Respect… My Hero… My Big Brother… My Friend…”

FYI, the prayer was much longer, more detailed, more of a Little Sister’s Heart petitioning Our Father, God, to do what His Word says He Can Do…

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”- Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)

AND GOD ANSWERED MY PRAYERS!!! 🙌🏾💖

God provided what I prayed for and more!! 🙌🏾💖

My Big Brother is a Living Testimony!! 🙌🏾💖

He’s not perfect but he is Respectable, Responsible, and Most Importantly…

He is My Big Brother 🙌🏾💖

He is An Answered Prayer!! 🙌🏾💖

And today, I celebrate both the gift and the Giver.

When I asked him what he would like to do for his birthday, he said “You know how I am, as long as we celebrate your birthday, I’m good.”

That means “Spontaneous Fun”!!

We may not have a plan and that’s okay because:

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”- Psalm 118:24 (NIV)

I hope everyone celebrates themselves and others
